The brave men and women who are or have fought for our country have some of the most supportive families. With VeteranAid.org's Proud Military Spouse Badge Project, we are supporting a charity that is near and dear to military families - Operation Homefront.
Operation Homefront's mission is to "build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive in the communities they have worked so hard to protect". They provide an array of programs that address short-term critical assistance, long-term stability, and recurring family support. Some examples include financial assistance for food, rent, utilities, etc., mortgage-free homes awarded, and baby showers to help new military moms.
VeteranAid.org is recognized mainly for its contributions to senior veterans and their families. VeteranAid.org has been the leading free resource for information on the veterans Aid and Attendance pension benefit for over 10 years. VeteranAid.org was created to educate and inform veterans, their widows, and families about the VA's Aid and Attendance pension benefit and help families with their questions as they navigate this difficult process. One of the most valuable resources on VeteranAid.org is the forums where users can read others' questions and concerns and join the community to post questions they may have as they go through the A&A application process.
For every Proud Military Spouse badge that is posted to a website or blog, we will donate $20 to Operation Homefront. We will also add you to our list of supporters below.
